CGF — Concentrated Growth Factors

The Devamed line dedicated to preparing autologous platelet concentrates: Medifuge (blood separator), Round Up (homogenizer) and APAG P (programmable heater), complete with a patented kit for collection and processing. CE-marked medical devices intended for medical and dental professionals.

Device 1

Medifuge CGF — Blood Phase Separator

A medical device that allows the use of up to 8 tubes, or in groups of two, to create CGF (fibrin). The self-ventilating rotor system protects the blood sample from thermal exposure. The rotor compartment, the closing hatch and the tube sleeves ensure biological safety in terms of bio-containment, in case of tube breakage. The tube sleeves and rotor are made of thermal, antistatic material, easy to clean, removable and autoclave-sterilizable at 135°. Medifuge features a decontamination cycle with reflected UVC light.

Round Up — Integrated Mixing

A medical device for intrinsic and extrinsic mixing, without altering the geometric dimensions of autologous, heterologous or synthetic material, for medical use. The system works with liquid, semi-liquid and solid materials, ensuring perfect and homogeneous mixing without atmospheric contamination. Automatic vacuum in seconds (max 16 seconds); features a decontamination cycle with reflected UVC light.

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked most often

What is CGF?
CGF (Concentrated Growth Factors) is a new generation of platelet concentrates, isolated from a simple blood sample from the patient through a standardized separation protocol, with no exogenous substances added, able to retain a higher concentration of autologous growth factors.
Which devices make up the CGF line?
The Medifuge (blood separator), the Round Up (homogenizer for the intrinsic and extrinsic mixing of autologous, heterologous or synthetic material) and the APAG P (programmable heater for albumin denaturation), plus the patented kit with dedicated instruments for collection and processing.
In which clinical fields is CGF used?
Orthopedic surgery, maxillofacial, oral, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, sports surgery, dermatology, gynecology and neurosurgery. Efficacy has so far been demonstrated mainly in oral and maxillofacial surgery, for example in sinus lift procedures and crestal ridge augmentation.
Who is this line intended for?
Medical and dental professionals. Medifuge, Round Up and APAG P are CE-marked medical devices intended for professional use in surgical and clinical settings.

The technical information shown comes from the manufacturer's documentation. These devices are intended for medical and dental professionals; their use, indications and protocols remain subject to the healthcare professional's assessment and applicable regulations.
